The Resident Evil movies haven’t exactly been the genre-defining masterpieces that the games are—but seeing Mila Jovovich shoot up zombies in slow-mo has always been fun. However after six (yes, six) films, the series is coming to a close wih the currently-filming Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

So what’s next? Animated movies. According to reports, Capcom is teaming up with Japanese animation studio Marza Animation Planet to make an-all new CGI film. And yes, we know there have been some straight-to-video Resident Evil CGI films before, but this will apparently be a complete reboot, featuring the characters Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers from the first two games.
