TV spin-offs of movies used to be reliably awful. But now things like Fargo and From Dusk Till Dawn have changed that up recently and actually been pretty good. So what film is next on the slate to be adapted? NBC have order a small screen version of Liam Neeson revenge-em-up Taken.
So how is it going to work? Are his wife and daughter going to get kidnapped every single week? Well, apparently it’s going to be a prequel, where, according to Deadline, “Bryan Mills… is a young man with no wife and kids.” Wait, so that sounds nothing like the Taken films. What’s the point of that?
