As Caitlyn Jenner's groundbreaking E! docuseries I Am Cait progresses, the emotional facets of her journey toward a fuller and more empowered self frequently take center stage. Though the most recent episode featured a long overdue face-to-face discussion (and subsequent squashing) of perceived animosity between Caitlyn and Khloé Kardashian, a thorough (and greatly anticipated) heart-to-heart with ex-wife Kris Jenner hasn't been given the decidedly cinematic I Am Cait treatment.

However, as evidenced by the clip above, that exact conversation should be revealed on the very next episode. "You're sensitive and amazing to all these new people in your life," Kris tells Caitlyn tearfully, "you're just not so sensitive and amazing to the family that you left behind." Referencing the most recent episode's debate on Caitlyn's "distraction" comment surrounding the Vanity Fair article, Kris tells Caitlyn she feels that such a comment devalues the time they spent together. "It was a distraction from the sense of who I was," Caitlyn clarifies. "It doesn't mean I didn't love you or the kids."

Kris and Caitlyn were married for 24 years, raising two children together: Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, respectively. They officially separated in 2013 and made their divorce official in March of this year.
