On Wednesday, Vester Lee Flanagan II brutally shot two WDBJ employees to death during a live broadcast in Virginia. Flanagan, known to WDBJ viewers by his on-air pseudonym Bryce Williams, had reportedly been fired from the station in 2013. After murdering reporter Alison Parker and photojournalist Adam Ward, Flanagan shared a self-filmed video of the shooting on Facebook and Twitter before both accounts were quickly shut down.

Flanagan eventually killed himself after encountering local law enforcement, following a continually evolving public narrative of Flanagan's personal and professional lives. Flanagan truly was a "human powder keg," as he described himself in a 23-page fax sent to ABC News shortly before his death. On Thursday, as residents and former co-workers mourned the deaths of Parker and Ward, law enforcement raided Flanagan's $650-a-month apartment. As shown in the Telegraph's video above, the living space had been made relatively minimal.

Most notably, local authorities reportedly discovered a refrigerator covered with headshots and photos from his days as a reporter and a collection of various sex toys with "human material" on them. The Telegraph's sources say that Flanagan had prepared for the murder by spreading personal documents across various dumpsters in the area, leaving a small amount of personal artifacts behind. Various neighbors also confirm reports that he wasn't very well-liked at the apartment complex, citing instances of Flanagan reportedly throwing cat shit at other residents.
