Apple is rumored to announce the iPhone 6S in an event early next month, possibly on September 9th, according to Buzzfeed. The speculation doesn’t seem farfetched considering Apple has unveiled a new iPhone at about that time for the past four years. It now seems even more likely since 9to5Mac reports that Best Buy—the first retailer besides Apple to sell the Apple watch—will begin offering AppleCare at stores starting the week of September 14th, the week after the rumored announcement.
Best Buy becomes the first major retailer to sell AppleCare, besides Apple. Customers who buy AppleCare at Best Buy will have the option of using the service at a Best Buy or at an Apple store.
