Earl probably did not plan on his album title to be an excuse to binge game for thirty hours straight, but with the upcoming video game releases this fall, you’re going to need an excuse for the fact that you haven’t left the dark cave of your room for over a week. Here are the release dates, where to pre-order them, and some games that might tide you over until the others are out.

If You Are Amped For...Fallout 4 (December 1, 2015)

Not Available Interstitial

Try: The Witcher: Wild Hunt 3

The Witcher received high reviews and it is similar to this upcoming Fallout release in that they are both first-player action games. The Witcher is different in practically every other way, but it offers a similar user experience, and should curb some of the Fallout 4 thirst.

If You Are Amped For...NBA 2K16 (September 29, 2015)

Not Available Interstitial

Try: Any of the other NBA 2K games

I’ve been told over and over again that the 2K games are the only basketball games to f*ck with. So if you are amped for NBA 2K16, I’m guessing y’all already know.

If You Are Amped For...FIFA 2016 (September 22, 2015)

Not Available Interstitial

Try: Pro Evolution Soccer 2015

FIFA is obviously the powerhouse for soccer, digitally and not, but you’re really shorting yourself if you haven’t checked out any of the PES games. They are similar in quality and overall user satisfaction.

If You Are Amped For...Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 (September 29, 2015)

Not Available Interstitial

Try: OlliOlli 2: Welcome To Olliwood

The name of this game is regrettable, but it’s got high user reviews and is a recent release that will you get you prepped for that next-level Tony Hawk shit.

If You Are Amped For...Just Cause 3 (December 1, 2015)

Not Available Interstitial

Try: Killing Floor 2

Just Cause 3 is going to be set on some fictional European island, and Killing Floor 2 is also set in Europe. I could leave it there, if there are any setting nerds out there. But they both have clear adversaries for your character to defeat, and the games are both super goal-oriented, meaning that the feel of Killing Floor will definitely hold you over until December.

If You Are Amped For...Call of Duty: Black Ops III (November 6, 2015)

Not Available Interstitial

Try: Dying Light

Dying Light is probably more similar to the COD’s where there were a lot of zombies, but the worlds and gameplay in both of these are incredibly similar and Dying Light is entertaining enough to get you through the Nov. release date.
