Marvel keeps bringing the brilliance with their latest batch of hip-hop variant covers, a prolific line that has stirred highly concentrated Twitter interest since the first batch was unveiled earlier this year. Having already given us the Marvelized versions of classic album covers from N.W.A., Nicki Minaj, Nas, 50 Cent, and many more, the latest release from Marvel's visual romp through hip-hop history adds a modern twist by paying homage to an album that was released just this year.

"With these five Marvel Hip-Hop cover previews, we’re just past the halfway mark of a variant cover initiative that spans more than three decades,” says Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso.  “From the Fugees to Vince Staples, Gravediggaz to Wiz Kahlifa, Hip-Hop is an undeniable musical, artistic and cultural force that boasts unlimited flavors, so consider our visual shout-out a mere sampling."

In addition to giving the almighty nod to Wale's Lady Gaga-featuring 2009 album Attention Deficit via celebrated artist Kaare Andrews, a highly respected group of artists gave new life to historic album covers from The Fugees, Gravediggaz, Wiz Khalifa, and this year's Vince Staples critical smash Summertime '06:
