One of the more troubling aspects of the first Republican primary debate was the little time spent discussing police violence and Black Lives Matter—less than a minute, to be exact. St. Louis alderman Antonio French wasn't surprised, but when will the 2016 presidential race get honest about this polarizing issue? French has some ideas about the honest conversation our country has coming, and it'll require white people to figure out how they can best be of use to the Black Lives Matter. In an interview Complex News conducted with French, he approached the issue head on.
