After cutting ties with him for his racist remarks, DonaldTrump claims that NBC paid him over $213 million for 14 seasons of his reality-competition show, The Apprentice. Trump made this statement during an an election filing on Wednesday.

Boston Herald reports that "during the 14 seasons of The Apprentice, Mr. Trump was paid $213,606,575," Trump's campaign said in a release detailing information he provided to the Federal Election Commission.

The amount of money NBC has paid Trump is actually not that much compared to how much the show actually made the network. Boston Herald also reports that the average cost of a 30-second spot in TheApprentice for the 2014-2015 season was around $64,900, according to a Variety survey of primetime ad prices.
