The first trailer for the documentary of the late Saturday Night Live star, Chris Farley, is here, and it's a tearjerker. I am Chris Farley chronicles the comedian's life and rapid rise to stardom. He died of a drug overdose at the age of 33 in 1997.
In the documentary, Adam Sandler, Mike Meyers, Bob Odenkirk, Lorne Michaels, Christina Applegate, Molly Shannon, and more share their memories of the comedian, although it isn't always cheery. At one point in the trailer, Bob Saget asks "Everybody cries through this, right?"
Directed by Brent Hodge and Derik Murray, I Am Chris Farley opens on July 31. Watch the trailer, which first premiered on BuzzFeed, above.
