The world is always a brighter place when a new Bill Murray film is on the horizon. Thankfully, Murray is no mirage in the desert of charm — he's consistently the real thing, dousing everyone and everything he encounters with profoundly tweetworthy and highly 'grammable moments that would sound downright ludicrous on paper. When he's not busy brilliantly spinning his own life into some sort of riotously joyful performance art, he also continues to grace cinema with his presence — including the forthcoming Rock the Kasbah.

Depending on your level of general casting and/or Shia LaBeouf knowledge, you may or may not recall that LaBeouf was originally slated to star in Kasbah alongside Murray, Zooey Deschanel, Bruce Willis, Danny McBride, and Kate Hudson. After LaBeouf exited the project, Scott Caan hopped aboard the Barry Levinson-directed tale of Richie Lanz (Murray), a well-beyond-his-prime rock manager who takes his dwindling returns to Afghanistan.

The Clash-referencing comedy doesn't open until October 23, but you can enjoy the first trailer above — or just hope that Bill Murray shows up where you are, decades-strong charm in tow.
