The Inside Amy Schumer effect is very real — and it's quite exciting to witness the ripples. You might recall comedian Nikki Glaser from the 2013 film Women Who Kill, in which Glaser appeared alongside Amy Schumer, Rachel Feinstein, and Marina Franklin for a marathon of standup in New York City. Glaser has also made several appearances on @midnight and the aforementioned powerhouse Inside Amy Schumer. In an impressive act of foresight, Comedy Central is now giving Glaser her own series entitled Not Safe With Nikki Glaser.

Originally piloted under the name #NSFW w/Nikki Glaser (good call on the title change), Not Safe is centered around presumably NSFW conversations on all things sex — presented from a predictably comedic angle. According to Deadline, the series will also incorporate an audience participation segment with a tone similar to @midnight's general platform. "I’m deeply touched that Comedy Central has decided to fulfill my dream of hosting a comedy show about sex," Glaser said in a statement. "My parents are very proud (of my sister, who is a teacher)."

In addition to picking up Not Safe With Nikki Glaser for a ten-episode initial run premiering in 2016, Comedy Central also ordered an hour standup special which is slated to film this fall and air shortly after. Glaser will next appear in the Judd Apatow-directed comedy Trainwreck, written by and starring Amy Schumer.
