Scarlett Johansson returned to host Saturday Night Live for a fourth time (her first appearance in four years), even though everyone was watching the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight anyway (see below). You knew there was going to be a Marvel sketch, and that turned out to be the highlight of a bit of an off episode that was the most sports-centric SNL in a minute. Here's the best of what you missed:

BLACK WIDOW: AGE OF ME

1.

The point: Even if Marvel did finally make a female-led superhero movie, they'd probably turn it into a romantic comedy with Thor as the gay best friend?

PACQUIAO VS. MAYWEATHER

2.

OK, Aidy Bryant was an interesting choice to play Manny Pacquiao, but at least SNL knew that nobody was watching NBC when the fight was on.

WEEKEND UPDATE: CHARLES BARKLEY AND SHAQ

3.

It was a huge day for sports IRL, and a huge night for sports sketches on SNL. Jay Pharoah's Shaquille O'Neal could show up way more and we'd be fine with that. He even got Kenan Thompson to break during Weekend Update, and that doesn't happen too often.

ORIOLES GAME

4.

Yes, another sports sketch, but 'SNL' had to find a way to address what happened in Baltimore this week (even if they did it in a very non-controversial way), and they answered a lot of questions about that Orioles game played in a completely empty stadium this week.
