In the fucked up world of airlines buying a plane ticket doesn't always guarantee you a seat on the plane. Airlines are known to overbook flights, and if everybody shows up as planned somebody is getting left behind. We've stood by and accepted this for too long, but one pioneer will no longer put up with this maddening practice.
A frustrated man at Charlotte Douglas International Airport stripped naked after his trip to Jamaica was threatened by an overbook US Airways flight. Homeboy posted up in the gate sans clothes for another 40 minutes before police finally came and took him away, according to WCNC. Another passenger named Sherry Ketchie snapped a photo of the pot-bellied, angry white man for all to see on Facebook.
Police say the man was suffering from a "medical issue" and will not face charges. But dude could have been 100 percent healthy and garnered our support. If it takes dudes getting naked at the airport to get airlines to stop overbooking flights, so be it. We need a hero.
