Here's a Memorial Day Weekend treat for ya: John Oliver explains some of best "lost graphics" from his show, the photoshopped images that were meant to debut on-air, but were ultimately cut for some tragic reason. Oliver says that some of these jokes were cut because they ran out of time—but most of these images are so outlandish, that they probably never had a place on television anyway. Ah, but the Internet, the Internet is a different story.

In this web-exclusive video (Last Week took the long weekend off, just like you), Oliver shows off some of his favorite lost graphics from the show. Some are gratuitous: a panda king ("As striking as it is completely meaningless," says Oliver) or an erratic-looking snake eating its own tail ("An extremely lonely snake, or one whose been taking yoga classes and has gotten a little bit curious.")

But some jokes we wish could have found their way into a bit, like Kid Rock driving a monster truck into a Dairy Queen—that one makes total sense—or the one of Oliver getting a mohawk. Pro-tip: if you've ever wanted get his real-life haircut, Oliver says you can just ask your barber for the "business Judy Dench."
