The Florida couple caught having sex on a beach last summer have been convicted for their actions, authorities say.
Back in July, 40-year-old Jose Caballero and 20-year-old Elissa Alvarez were busted for their Bradenton Beach, Fla. romp. Witnesses watched the egregious act, and a woman who recorded it forwarded the video to police.
The New York Daily News reports that another disgusted witness phoned police:
Yeah, they think it's a joke, a woman watching the X-rated scene told a dispatcher, according to a 911 call released by Manatee County police.
It's very disgusting. He just took her top off. There's a child here.
According to the New York Daily News, a jury found Caballero and Alvarez guilty 15 minutes after the footage of them having sex was shown in court yesterday. In reference to their wanton disregard for decency, Assistant State Attorney Anthony Dafonseca said "[I]t takes a certain kind of person to do that in front of children only feet away," the Daily News adds.
Per the Daily News, no sentencing date for Caballero and Alvarez has been set.
