Dane Cook's long history at the Laugh Factory, one of Los Angeles' most iconic comedy clubs, is reportedly over. The club never turned its back on him when people finally realized he isn't funny, but Yahoo! reports the comedian has received a lifetime ban for harassing a waitress. A source says he used vulgar and abusive language toward the woman and was even more hostile when confronted by the club's owner. He reportedly dropped the "I own this place!" bomb, which you can't really recover from.

Cook had been a regular at the Laugh Factory for years and even held the endurance record for all of five days before the gawd Dave Chappelle came in and swooped it from him.

Realistically, both parties will be more than fine post-split. Cook will still get gigs anywhere else he wants, and the Laugh Factory will continue to be an institution. But it's still kinda sad it came to this.
