Max Greenfield’s best known for being Schmidt, the bougie douchebag with a heart of gold on New Girl, but get ready to see him in his first foray into horror for American Horror Story: Hotel. We have a feeling he won’t be able to make much use of his Irish walking cape. AHS creator Ryan Murphy welcomed Greenfield to the cast earlier today, while hinting he might be in for a short stay:
Greenfield, who was stellar as an actual douchebag in last year’s About Alex, joins the Hotel cast including AHS veterans Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates, alongside Lady Gaga, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley, and Cheyenne Jackson.
Look out for AHS: Hotel this fall.
