In a surprising move, the first clip we've seen of the upcoming Jurassic World is bursting with sexual tension and not with any dinosaurs. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard exchange tense banter while velociraptors are nowhere to be seen. Weird, but the clip is pretty excellent — giving us a glimpse at the movie's aesthetic and tone.

Pratt, working on his motorcycle and looking hunky in an off-white tee, carries the humor of the clip — he reminds Howard that the dinosaurs she's so worried about aren't just numbers on a spreadsheet, but real, living animals. Howard comes off as reserved and clinical, and also at times supremely annoyed with Pratt's quips. It turns out the two went on a date — but not a second one, as Pratt is quick to point out in a tone of voice that should be accompanied with a wagging finger.

The clip doesn't reveal much else — but it does raise some questions. Why does Pratt have to inspect the terrain for vulnerabilities? What kind of new dinosaurs are Howard and her team breeding? Is there a second date in Pratt and Howard's future? Why did she bring an itemized to-do list to their first one? Jurassic World premieres June 12, so get ready.
