Jerry Seinfeld turned the tables on David Letterman during his appearance on "Late Show" last week when he took over Dave's soon-to-be-vacant host chair.

What if that classic episode of Louie came true and Jerry Seinfeld really did take over for David Letterman on the Late Show? For one night only last week, it sort of happened as Seinfeld turned the tables and got behind the desk to interview the soon-to-retire host on his own show. 

Seinfeld, America's foremost voice of reason, told Letterman "this whole quitting idea is the stupidest thing I ever heard" before demanding to know "what the hell you think you're gonna do" after leaving. Although this advice is coming from the guy who walked away from the greatest sitcom of all time, so...

Letterman's final show is May 30. Sometime after that, the only guy probably more beloved than Seinfeld, Stephen Colbert, will take over as host.
