Doin' it for the Gram just got a whole lot easier with the new Instagram update. It welcomes the addition of two key features: new editing tools to make your selfies more unrealistic and specific user post notifications so you can stalk your ex more efficiently. Android users are getting redemption for IG's late arrival to the device by adding the update today while iOS users will have to wait a few more days.

The new editing features include the "fade" and "color" tools that allow you to adjust the tones of your photos. The new tools appear in the app's adjust menu and tweaks the amount of light in your picture.

1.

Fade softens all of the colors in your image making it look more Pintresty. It comes with a slider (seen above) that allow you to control the amount of the effect you want to use.

2.

Color changes the tones of your photo by playing with a photo's shadows or highlights and adding color pops. Choose the tint color between yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, cyan and green.

Saving the best for last, post notification allows you to Insta-stalk the users you want to follow more closely by subscribing to their posts. When viewing a profile, the "..." menu in the top right corner now has the option to "Turn on Post Notifications." It will then send push notifications each time the users you follow share a new post.
