Next year Louis C.K. will become warm and cuddly for the first time. The comedian is set to star in The Secret Life of Pets, an animated film with Kevin Hart as co-star. C.K. and Hart will play a dog and rabbit, respectively, while a stacked cast of Ellie Kemper, Hannibal Buress, Lake Bell, Bobby Moynihan, and Albert Brooks will join in unspecified roles.

Despicable Me writers Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio will explore what exactly our pets do when we're not home, besides wondering if we'll ever return. It has to be good stuff if C.K. and Buress, who typically have higher standards than Hart, are involved.

Look out for The Secret Life of Pets to hit theaters July 8, 2016.
