Skinny Jonah Hill died yesterday when Fat Jonah Hill reemerged on the set of his upcoming comedy, Arms And The Dudes. The death and rebirth has been foreshadowed for months, but Hill now looks larger than ever. It's unclear if he's put on the weight for a role, or if he's revisited his belief that there's nothing funny about a physically fit man.

Skinny Jonah Hill was born in 2011, after Brad Pitt encouraged his Moneyball co-star to lose weight. He showed up strikingly slim at the 2011 ESPY Awards, with the Daily Mail estimating he'd lost 40 pounds.

In January 2012 Hill told ABC News:

"It was just mostly diet. I wish there was some crazy thing that I did, like a pill or a genie or something. I went to see a nutritionist, and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff."

Hill began to look noticeably larger last year, with Radar Online reporting he was up to 270 pounds. But he looks even larger in the photos from the Arms And The Dudes set, even though it's unlikely that he's gained weight for the film. The movie is based on a Rolling Stone article about two stoner arms dealers who ended up securing a $300 million contract from The Pentagon. Neither stoner is husky. In fact, they both look quite fit.

Instead of mourning Skinny Jonah Hill, we ask that you remember the good times Fat Jonah Hill brought and look forward to the future.
