When Bruce Jenner came out as transgender on 20/20 with Diane Sawyer, one of the most compelling parts of his announcement was just how supportive his family has been. Bruce shared funny and moving stories about how it's been hard on his children, and how they've each helped him in their own way—Kim, he said, has been the most accepting of his new identity, telling him, "Girl, you gotta rock it, baby."

For some reason, TMZ reported that now, his sons and Kim are urging Bruce to finish his transition in private. That would mean no more interviews and not airing the docuseries on his transition, scheduled to air on E! this summer

Kim has already said that his transition will be hard on the whole family. But considering how great going public has been for Bruce, this news comes as a bit of a shock. Sure, it's TMZ, so take it with a grain of salt. On the other hand, maybe Kim and the boys just want Bruce to be able to go through with his transition without worrying about more media attention or paparazzi shots.

Whatever the case, the TMZ report also said that "Bruce's kids won't appear on the show." According to their sources (which are unnamed, of course), Kim and the others are worried that Bruce's public appearances from here on out might "de-class" their brand. No comment yet from the Kardashians or the Jenners, but we'll probably be hearing from them soon.
