The battle against ISIS is being fought on multiple fronts, and now Twitter is declaring their own war by suspending over 2,000 accounts connected to members and supporters of the terror group.

According to terrorism analyst J.M. Berger, who monitors ISIS' online activity:

"Twitter has been doing a whole lot over the past week. They've slammed them pretty hard, including the official media distribution guys."

It is widely known that ISIS favors Twitter as a recruiting tool and for disseminating propaganda, so this should deliver a mighty blow. Threatening memes and spam-filled DMs will surely be used as retaliation.
