Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has made a career out of being the most charming ass-kicker in the history of cinema. Defying all laws of anatomy, the former WWF superstar continues to get freakishly bigger and stronger the older he gets, and this makes it increasingly difficult to believe any of his on-screen opponents could ever stand a chance. The arrival of Jason Statham as the new villain in Furious 7, however, made fans of the franchise Birdman hand-rub in anticipation for the epic hand-to-hand combat bound to go down between the two professionally trained fighters.
Well, The Rock gave the world a glimpse of what to expect with a teaser posted to his Instagram today. While it is very brief, it offers a healthy dosage of intense brutality. The Rock even dusted off an oldie and brought back his classic finishing move as a wink to the audience. Looks like Statham might be taking his first L in a fist fight.
