If The New York Times didn't already kill "on fleek" with its language quiz last month, late night television is about to deal the term a fatal blow. Seth Meyers did a Late Night segment on teen slang to explain to old people what younger people were saying six months ago.

Now that old people are caught up it's officially time to move on and discover the next term for IHOP, The New York Times, and Seth Meyers to drain of any semblance of coolness (formerly known as on fleekness). We'll be a part of that cycle a few more times before we have to pack it an and give up on being cool, thus becoming the type of people who need an "on fleek" explainer during the last show we watch before going to bed at a reasonable, nerdy hour.

Isn't growing up disgusting?
