One Scottish teacher just got fired—No, not for sleeping with a student, or six, and it wasn't for being caught with a student and an open bottle of lube—but for using foul and inappropriate language toward his students. The worst insult the 54-year-old teacher Michael Rankin hurled at a student was the titular, “Shut up, I shagged your maw.” Burn. But at least he didn’t literally hurl basketballs at his students, no?
The now former technology teacher at Ardrossan Academy in Ayrshire gained a reputation for cursing at students as young as 12 and 13 in 2013. He allegedly called them “f****** idiots,” “fat,” and in one instance, “Shrek.”

Not that bad you say? Other insults included: “Fat c***,” "You’re f****** worthless,” and the ever encouraging, “You will get nowhere in life.”
He wasn’t short on the mom jokes either: “Every time I s*** your mum makes me a sandwich, that’s why I’m fat.” “You can give this present of a mirror to your mum, but I already gave her a present last night.” Last but not least, “That’s me and your mum in the back of that car,” during a scene in Bend it like Beckham (?!) where the car was bouncing up and down. After Rankin met with the General Teaching Council for Scotland to defend himself it was decided he wouldn’t be able to register as a teacher again.
