The war of words between Jon Stewart and Seth Rollins finally escalated into violence. That's right, after weeks of epic tough-guy-wrestler shit talking between the late night host and the actual wrestler, things came to a head with Stewart manning up and showing his face at Monday Night Raw to confront Rollins.
Stewart, the badass 52-year-old that he is, entered the arena with The Daily Show theme music playing him in to exchange even more insults to the WWE heel's face. Stewart needed more than words to defend his and his home state of New Jersey's honor, so he hopped into the ring to deliver the lowest of low blows. Rollins should've known better than to diss Stewart's passion project Rosewater.
Jon Stewart might have just secured Phase 2 of his career once he departs The Daily Show.
