A red-eye United flight from Washington DC to Denver was grounded when a passenger charged the cockpit reportedly yelling "jihad." Passengers wrestled him to the ground, and after a search by both passengers and TSA authorities, no explosives were found on him. The aircraft returned to Washington-Dulles airport where he was taken into custody.
A passenger recorded the man, restrained by other passengers. He could be heard sobbing and apologizing in the video. None of the other 33 passengers or six crew members were injured.
