Authorities in Toronto say a local pastor sexually assaulted a woman while claiming to perform exorcisms.

According to the Toronto Sun, the United Spiritual Baptist Church's Wayne Marlon Jones lent "spiritual guidance" to the woman from May 2011 to May 2013. The 53-year-old also goaded the woman into giving him money and property for his services. Furthermore, the Sun reports that people who resided in the area took note of strange happenings near the church.

"It didn’t make sense people would be there at 2 a.m. until 4, 5, 6 a.m.," Sue Lamonday confessed. "I walked by last summer and heard [a man] screaming, 'God is going to save you from the fires of hell if you hand over your help any way you can.'"

In addition to the sexual assault charge, Jones, who founded the church in 2000, also faces charges for fraud. Toronto police believe there are more victims out there.
