A Staten Island woman was arrested this week for allegedly threatening to blow up her daughter's school after the girl failed a test.

According to the Staten Island Advance, a criminal complaint states that Karen Shearon told Susan Wagner High School's guidance counselor, "I am going to blow up the school" on Tuesday. The threat came after Shearon, 48,  was told that her daughter had failed a state exam. An official with the Department of Education told the Advance that the school informed the NYPD immediately.

Shearon, who claims that she never made the threat, was arrested on Thursday and charged with second-degree aggravated harassment.
