The Hills star Heidi Montag's dad, Bill Montag, was arrested and charged with child sex abuse and incest in Aspen, Colorado on Friday. According to local NBC outlet KUSA, Bill is accused of abusing the girl more than 50 times between 1993 to 1998. The alleged abuse began when the accuser was 13 years old.

Due to the statute of limitations, Bill Montag can only be charged with crimes that occurred after July 1st, 1996. The victim would've been 16 at that date. The final accusation of abuse occurred when the related victim would've been 17. According to court records, the abuse ended once she stopped his advances after he crawled into bed with her in 1998.

According to KUSA, there is no indication that Bill abused Heidi or her sister, Holly Montag. According to TMZ, the accuser has "stalked" Heidi and her husband, Spencer Pratt, at recent events. According to the same source, the couple expect Bill to be exonerated.

Bill appeared on The Hills in 2009, when he walked Heidi down the aisle before she wed Pratt. He is currently being held in custody outside of Aspen, Colorado, where he had been a ski instructor for many years.
