At the intersection of education and pop culture lie classes like the Beyoncé course taught at Rutgers University, a string of Hip-Hop courses studying Tupac or Jay Z, and now a course about Mean Girls.

A college course based on Mean Girls, the holy grail to millennials, sounds too grool to be true, but Colorado College is currently running the course “Queen Bees, WannaBees and Mean Girls’’ as a comparative literature class.

Taught by Lisa Hughes, the class aims to investigate the “motives behind why women seek authority and the actions they are willing to take in order to hold onto it.” Mostly by studying Greek mythology.

True to form, students in the class wore pink on Wednesdays.
