One of Hollywood's greatest character actors will team up with one of music's greatest recluses. NBC has announced J.K. Simmons will host Saturday Night Live with D'Angelo as the musical guest. The Jan. 31 episode will be the first for both Simmons and D'Angelo.
Our biggest wish is that J.K. Simmons follows Jim Cary's lead and does a spoof of his own Farmers Insurance commercials. But even if that doesn't happen, Simmons top-notch deadpanning skills should keep us entertained during a season with an exceptionally low bar.
