A woman who fell in love with her dad (and not in the usual way) has plans to marry him and maybe have a few kids together in New Jersey

And here's a fresh reason to look down on New Jersey, as if you need another one: adult incest relationships are legal there (just not the marriage part).

New York magazine this week published an interview with the unidentified woman titled "What It's Like To Date Your Dad." In that interview, the woman explains that she didn't see her dad for 12 years, but they were reunited when she was 17 and soon realized they were sexually attracted to each other due to her dad's "morning wood."

From the interview:

"It was so weird and confusing. I was seeing my dad for the first time in forever but it was also like, He’s so good-looking! And then I was like,What the hell are you thinking? What is wrong with you?"

But not "wrong" enough to stop this from happening.

"We stopped and said that we didn’t know what was going on but admitted that we had strong feelings for each other. We discussed whether it was wrong and then we kissed. And then we made out, and then we made love for the first time. That was when I lost my virginity."

The phenomenon, referred to as "genetic sexual attraction," might not be all that uncommon. According to some estimates, it occurs in as many as half of adopted people who are reunited with their birth parents or siblings at an older age.
