The Guardians of Peace resurfaced last night, sending Sony executives another message in the wake of the company’s decision to cancel the release of The Interview.

In it, the hackers praised Sony’s decision as “very wise,” adding that “Now we want you never let the movie released, distributed or leaked in any form of, for instance, DVD or piracy.”

1.

Further, they added that “we want everything related to the movie, including its trailers, as well as its full version down from any website hosting them immediately.”

If Sony complies with these requests, they said, no further harm would come to them. “We still have your private and sensitive data,” they said, adding that they also will “ensure the security of your data unless you make additional trouble.”

Because of the formatting and language, Sony believes the email is indeed authentic. Given how they have already complied with all other requests, it seems like this one is likely to be heeded as well.
