Samuel L. Jackson wants all you motherf---in celebrities to sing for justice. He didn't actually say the motherf---in part, but we heard it anyway because, well, Sam Jackson.
The star posted a powerful message to his Facebook page that challenged his fellow stars to sing the “We Ain’t Gonna Stop Until People Are Free” song, before he sang it himself.
“I can hear my neighbor crying, 'I can't breathe.'
Now I'm in the struggle and I can't leave.
Calling out the violence of the racist police.
We ain't gonna stop until people are free.
We ain't gonna stop until people are free."
He posted it the same day the "Justice For All March" drew thousands to Washington, D.C. to protest the grand jury decisions in the Eric Garner and Michael Brown cases. In his post, Jackson points out that many celebs were down for the ice bucket challenge, but I wonder how many will be down to sing?
