A Florida woman accused of shoplifting figured she'd create a diversion by smearing feces on the faces of her accusers.
According to Local 10, 32-year-old Marisol Toribio was caught stealing at a Fort Lauderdale Macy's on Tuesday. Backed into a corner, she reportedly reached into her pants, conveniently retrieving the feces, which she rubbed in a few loss prevention officer's faces. (That's certain to distract and infuriate.)
Her desperation move left a lasting impression, but failed, as police in Coral Springs arrested her and charged her with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence in addition to theft.
If nothing else, everyone involved is left with a story for the ages.
