We were super pumped back when Disney announced Cory and Topanga would be back in their new series, Girl Meets World. It was even better when the show was actually good—a whole new generation of kids is getting to know the Matthews family.
The cherry on top, though, is a visit from Uncle Shawn, a.k.a. Rider Strong. Along with Cory's parents, Shawn stopped by for last night's Christmas episode. "It's like time travel," Strong told the Hollywood Reporter back when they filmed the episode. "I get to go back to high school, but now I have a clue of what's going on."
Fingers crossed that he comes back for more.
