Star Wars: The Force Awakens has already scared off Kung Fu Panda 3 all the way to 2016, but Amy Poehler and Tina Fey won't be intimidated. Sisters, the duo's upcoming comedy two siblings who learn their childhood house is about to be sold and do the responsible thing by throwing one last rager, will go head-to-head with Star Wars on Dec. 18.
"We said we’d only do the movie if it opened against Star Wars," Poehler said. "We’re not scared. It’s what gets us up in the morning. We’re going to fucking crush Star Wars."
Gotta love that confidence. We'd run all the way to 2017 just to be safe. But Fey and Poehler don't play that shit. Perhaps impersonating Princess Leia made Fey realize she has nothing to be scared of, sort of like holding a spider to get rid of arachnophobia.
