Even if you (rightly) can’t stand the braindead Michael Bay movies, the idea of Transformers is pretty cool. But what if instead of just the normal generic vehicles that the toys turned into, what if they could transform into famous cars from TV and film?
That’s what artist Darren Rawlings has done, in a series “If They Could Transform”, where he depicts the likes of the A-Team’s van, Back To The Future’s DeLorean, KITT from Kinghtrider, the Ninja Turtles battle van and, er, Herbie the talking VW Beetle, all turning into giant robots.
We particularly like the Proton pack on the Ghostbuster bot, and the DeLorean’s hoverboard.
