Shia LaBeouf conducted an hour-long interview without actually saying a word. It was weird.

Just when you thought Shia LaBeouf was going to go back to being a relatively “normal” guy, he goes and does something like this…and totally changes the game.

After his relatively coherent explanation of just how it came to pass that he was ejected from Cabaret a few months ago, LaBeouf gave an “interview” to Dazed magazine in which the writer and he simply sat silently and stared at one another for an hour while they wore GoPro cameras attached to their heads.

If that sounds weird, just watch a few minutes of it above and see for yourself.

Despite the silence of this interview, Shia did in fact conduct an interview with the magazine; he just did it all via email. And he had some very interesting stories to tell.

Perhaps his most astonishing claim is that while “performing” his #IAMSORRY installation art project, he was raped by one of the visitors. Yes, you read that correctly.

“One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for ten minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me,” Shia said. “There were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with disheveled hair and smudged lipstick. It was no good, not just for me but her man as well.”

Um, huh? Wouldn’t you maybe want to say something afterwards since, you know, a crime happened? Or is this all some kind of metaphor and he wasn’t literally raped? Something is really not adding up here.
