Following Darren Wilson's first television interview last night, Michael Brown's parents are defending their son. A grand jury decided on Monday night not to indict Wilson for fatally shooting Brown in Ferguson, Mo. in August.

Speaking with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, Wilson said that he had a "clear conscience" in the wake of Brown's shooting. That didn't sit right with Brown's mother. "How can your conscience be clear after killing someone, even if it was an accidental death?" Leslie McSpadden asked during an appearance on CBS This Morning

Neither McSpadden nor Michael Brown, Sr. have watched Wilson's interview with Stephanopoulos, but McSpadden called Wilson's remarks "so disrespectful." She also told CBS that, although she did not think Wilson wanted to kill her son, she believes he "wanted to kill someone."

On NBC's Today, Brown, Sr. said that his son "respected law enforcement." "Who in their right mind would rush or charge at a police officer who has his gun?" he asked.

According to McSpadden and Brown, Sr., no public official has reached out to them following the grand jury's decision.
