Everybody loves Slow Jam The News, and Ew! can be funny sometimes, but Jimmy Fallon's recurring lip-sync battles on the Tonight Show gave us Joseph Gordon Levitt killing it with Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" – arguably one of the best moments since Fallon took over.

Spike TV has obviously picked up on that, and a new series titled Lip Sync Battle will premiere April 2 on the cable network, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

The show will be executive-produced by Fallon, Jon Krasinski and Stephen Merchant, all who are scheduled to make guest appearances on the show.

As Tonight Show spinoffs go, it's no Box of Lies show, but at least it's better than another Thank You Notes book.
