We know that Wonder Woman will be appearing in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and that she’ll be getting her own movie. But could she be getting several movies, all of them set in very different time periods?
That seems to be the latest rumor out of Warner Bros., which is going all in on the Gal Gadot-led franchise. Reports suggest that the story outline is for the first movie to take place in the 1920s, with a second sometime during World War II, and a third in present day.
The Captain America franchise proved that this type of thing can be done, but the 1920s seems like a really weird period in which to launch a superhero franchise. Do DC and Warner Bros. actually know what they’re doing? Seems like we may be about to find out.
