Police in Indiana discovered the bodies of three women after being directed to them by a man who confessed to another murder.

CBS News reports that the unidentified 43-year-old man was arrested on Saturday following a police search of the man's home and vehicle. The investigation was triggered by the discovery of a woman's body at a Motel 6 the night before.

During questioning, the man told police about the additional bodies, which were found in three different locations between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The man remains in a Hammond City, Ind. jail, but has yet to be charged. As of yesterday, the Lake County coroner's office had not identified the victims, or their specific causes of death.
