That new Steve Jobs biopic starring Christian Bale just got a lot more chill.

In a genius bit of casting, Seth Rogen has been signed to play genius (and pudgy) Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in the movie based on Walter Isaacson's essential Steve Jobs biography, Variety reports.

I'm calling it a genius decision because they've just added a whole, new demographic to this movie's target audience by casting the stoner comedy go-to guy in Hollywood right now. It's also a genius move on Rogen's part, because the Woz character is chill enough to play into his strengths, but his movie has Oscar bait written all over it.

Is it time for Rogen to have a moment like his buddy Jonah Hill did with Moneyball?

Just to recap, this movie has a sick group of people lined up to work on it: Aside from Bale and Rogen, Jessica Chastain is reportedly being considered for a role. Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting) is directing, and Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network and so much other stuff) wrote the script.
