When do you think it was that Alvin Cross Jr. realized he had really, really messed up? Did he even notice that the “To:” field in his phone had the complete wrong name in it?
After receiving a text from Cross that read “You have some weed?”, the probation officer and drug agents raided Cross’ house. While there was no weed to be found, the bumbling criminal had, naturally, compounded his already absurd mistake by having a bag of cocaine laying around. And now, after all that, he’s heading back to prison for two years: one for the cocaine possession, and another for the parole violation.
Seems like the “autocorrect” defense must not have held up in court.
