The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is not going to be the most uplifting movie of all-time. Bombs are flying, people are dying, and Katniss moodily sulks for the early part of the film. Her ambivalence over fighting in “their” war and being used as a pawn must be snapped if the rebellion hopes to have a chance of winning, and that’s where this newest clip from Mockingjay begins.

We hear the voices of Julianne Moore and Philip Seymour-Hoffman as they discuss a controversial way to get Katniss' groove back. The answer? Show her the war-ravaged remains of her hometown. Commence contemplative staring, tearily sifting through the rubble, and one menacing white rose.

The movie hits theaters on November 21, and if you do as the video says and follow the #MockingjayTickets hastag, you’ll have up-to-the-minute information on how to get advance tickets. You might say that…the odds of seeing the movie on opening night will be ever in your favor.

Wow, that was horrible. Sorry.
